About this course
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. This course introduces what safeguarding means in a lacrosse environment and how to respond to common concerns in a way that is safe, timely, and appropriate.
You will explore good practice, responsibilities, and reporting routes, helping you feel confident in creating safe, welcoming experiences for children, young people, and adults at risk across England Lacrosse.
What you’ll learn
In this course you’ll cover the following:
- What safeguarding means in lacrosse and why it matters.
- Recognising common signs and indicators of concern.
- Your role and responsibilities, including appropriate boundaries and good practice.
- What to do if something worries you, including how to report concerns.
- How to respond to disclosures and record information accurately.
